UE announces renovation plans for softball facility

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – The University of Evansville formally introduced a renovation to its softball facility is in the is effective.

According to a press release, the programs are remaining led by a significant economic commitment from Tri-State Orthopedics. Improvements to the facility are established to function near to $1 million in facility enhancements.

“We are thrilled to solidify our continued long-time period relationship with the University of Evansville via the softball branding. Officers say renovations to the facility incorporate:

They do so considerably for our student-athletes and their commitment to this challenge strengthens that marriage,” UE Director of Athletics Dr. Kenneth ” Ziggy” Siegfried reported. “Enhancing the student-athlete expertise when creating championship caliber facilities are two of our primary ambitions and this checks all the bins. Our objective with every single of our programs is to win the Missouri Valley Convention and this moves us even nearer to that intention.”

According to a press launch, UE is established to be the only on-campus facility in the Missouri Valley Meeting with absolutely turfed infield and outfield. The hitting and pitching cages will also be turfed, offering practice and warm-up chances.
